Houston Texans Injury News: Kareem Jackson, Jadeveon Clowney Return To Practice

New, comments

The Texans saw two of their former first round picks get back on the practice field today. What does it mean for a defense that's suddenly looked rejuvenated without them?

Although the Houston Texans may be without their starting quarterback when the Jets visit NRG Stadium on Sunday (thanks to the third known concussion of Brian Hoyer's playing career), it appears they will welcome two defensive starters back.

The first overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft is psyched to get back out there:

There's no doubt that Whitney Mercilus has played like a man possessed during Clowney's absence, so it'll be interesting to see what Romeo Crennel does to try to take advantage of having J.J. Watt, Mercilus, and Clowney all available.

With regard to Kareem Jackson, will we see him back out there at corner or is there a chance we might see more of him at safety, as some have suggested?
