I know, I know...why are we talking about the NFL Draft in mid-November? Because there's honest-to-goodness news about the process, not which players the Texans should be targeting, that's worthy of a post.
For first time this spring, NFL expected to allow teams to begin trading compensatory draft picks, per NFL sources. Should be more trades.

While it remains to be seen whether the ability to trade compensatory draft picks will result in more trades, the fact that it's possible to trade that which was previously untradeable merits your attention. If nothing else, you can dream about what might have been if the Texans had been able to trade the compensatory pick they received in 2013 when Mario Williams signed with the Bills instead of using it to draft Sam Montgomery in the third round.
