While there has been a fair amount of attention paid to the angle of Ryan Fitzpatrick returning to Houston, Randy Bullock's Revenge Tour has not received anywhere near the publicity his teammate has. Bullock, drafted by the previous regime in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, was unceremoniously cut by the Texans three weeks into the 2015 season after missing one of his six field goal attempts, missing two extra points, and seeing most of his kickoffs returned at an alarming rate. Bullock was unemployed until the Jets signed him a little less than two weeks ago after their kicker was placed on Injured Reserve.
And now...now Randy Bullock returns. Will he have the opportunity to make his former employer pay by hitting a game-winning field goal? Or will he conclusively demonstrate that the Texans were right to jettison him in favor of Nick Novak? LET'S WATCH AND FIND OUT, SHALL WE? If nothing else, I do believe this marks the first open game day thread that has ever prominently featured talk about kickers here at BRB. So that's something, right?
This is your first open thread for the Week Eleven game between the Texans and Jets. Share your observations, thoughts, and musings about all things Houston, Texan, and/or Jet in real time in the Comments below.
NOTE: Please do not post any images, videos, GIFs, or non-text comments in any of BRB's live game threads. They tend to slow the thread down and can take a long time to load. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
NOTE II: Due to the fast-paced nature of these threads, there will be no warnings before bans on game day. If a moderator deems a comment or user to be problematic, he or she will remove that person from the discussion for the good of the collective game day experience.
