Despite this, neither team will dress every man on their roster. NFL rules allow 46 men per team to dress out for the game, so we're gathered here to see who won't be in uniform this afternoon.
We already know that Brian Hoyer and Kareem Jackson won't be playing today. Hoyer is recovering from a concussion suffered against the Bengals, while Kareem is still nursing a sore ankle that's held him out for the past few games. Akeem Dent and Chris Polk both missed practice Friday with hamstring injuries, so they're officially questionable going into the game. Despite missing some time this week, DeAndre Hopkins declared himself active when asked, and Jadeveon Clowney has sufficiently recovered from his most recent ailment to be ready to play today. Clowney's return may push Whitney Mercilus to the bench, so keep an eye out for any changes in how well the team performs without Merc and with JD.
For the Jets, Sheldon Richardson has missed practice with a hamstring injury and is a game-time decision. If he can't go, that helps our anemic offense. Dion Bailey has already been declared out for the game.
