After suffering a concussion in the Texans' win in Cincinnati a week ago tonight and subsequently missing yesterday's contest against the Jets, Brian Hoyer will reclaim his place as the Texans' starting quarterback when the Saints visit NRG Stadium on Sunday.
Bill O'Brien said Brian Hoyer passed the concussion protocol and will start against the Saints on Sunday

T.J. Yates did yeoman work in relief of Hoyer against the Bengals and played well yesterday to boot, but I don't think there's much debate about Hoyer being the superior option going forward. It'll be interesting to see if Bill O'Brien and George Godsey continue to feature the wildcat package with Cecil Shorts III and Jonathan Grimes or if that was a one-time deal predicated on the opponent and/or Yates being under center.
