It's a very special addition of DFS picks on Thanksgiving. While you're trying to stuff your face with food, I'll be trying to stuff your pockets with mon....errrr...internet points, because this isn't gambling. Right?
Brett gets the week off because he's busy being awesome and stuff. I'll be providing your DFS picks this week, and here they are:
QB: Derek Carr, OAK, $7,400
Derek Carr has thrown for multiple touchdowns in seven of his last eight games, and thrown for 300 yards in five of those games. Yes, last week he didn't throw a touchdown, but he faces a defense in the bottom half of the league in giving up passing touchdowns -- the Titans have given up 17 this season.
RB: T.J. Yeldon, JAC, $6,500
Yeldon was on the field for 49 snaps last game for the Jags. The game plan didn't give him the lion's share of carries, but that should change against San Diego. The Chargers have given up the seventh-most rushing yards per game this season -- 125.9.
RB: Chris Ivory, NYJ, $7,000
Ivory won't face J.J. Watt this week, so anything will be an improvement for Jets' running game.
WR: DeAndre Hopkins, HOU, $9,400
NUUUUUUUUKKKKKKKE. If Revis Island can't hold Hopkins, who can? He now faces the worst defense in the league in the Saints. Time to feast.
WR: Allen Robinson, JAC, $7,900
Two Jags on one list? Maybe I'm getting a cold. Robinson has proved to be the most potent weapon in the Jacksonville offense.
WR: Martavis Bryant, PIT, $6,700
With Big Ben back, Bryant went off. He caught six passes for 178 yards last week. I'll take this low price point for him.
TE: Crockett Gillmore, BAL, $5,600
Who is starting at quarterback for the Ravens this week? Matt Schaub. What position is Schaub's favorite target? Tight end. Who is starting at tight end for the Ravens? Crockett Gillmore. Case closed.
K: Connor Barth, TB, $4,800
I'm rolling the dice that this game will be a high scoring affair, so either kicker will be a solid choice. The fact that the game is indoors only helps.
DEF: Buffalo Bills, $4,600
The Bills have had positive point totals in their last three games, including 15 and 9 point games. I'l take my chances against the Chiefs' offense.
