J.J. Watt And The Texans Are On Fire
The Texans looked like one of the worst teams in the NFL for the majority of the first half of the season. Their only wins through Week 7 were over the Bucs in Jameis Winston’s third game and the goddamn Jaguars. The team was embroiled in the dumbest quarterback controversy ever between Ryan Mallett and Brian Hoyer, and Arian Foster had just torn his Achilles. Enter J.J. Watt.

Texans' tight ends finally get in on the action - Houston Chronicle
Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer didn't set out to find a tight end on his first touchdown throw Sunday or even as part of the game plan against the New Orleans Saints. Yet Hoyer's tight ends were crucial parts of the offense in the Texans' 24-6 win before a crowd of 71,778 at NRG Stadium. Griffin set a career high with a team-high 72 receiving yards on four receptions Sunday while doubling his previous high for passing yardage this season. Griffin, who suffered a medial collateral tear in his left knee in the season-opening game, had totaled six catches for 60 yards over his three previous games this season. Nine plays later, Griffin made his touchdown catch. Last season, 23 NFL tight ends caught more passes than the 35 receptions by all of the Texans' tight ends combined. The Texans targeted their tight ends only 54 times last year, and three of those catches were by defensive end J.J. Watt in goal-line situations.

Texans Timing Is Perfect " CBS Houston
There’s no doubt the Texans are rolling right now. The current four-game winning streak is the team’s longest since winning five-straight twice during the 2012 season, and every game left on the schedule looks winnable - even the Patriots game a week from Sunday at NRG Stadium.

Looking ahead to Texans-Bills - Houston Chronicle
1 If the Texans don't win the AFC South, they might end up competing for a wild-card playoff berth. 2 Quarterback Tyrod Taylor, a first-year starter, threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns in the loss at Kansas City.
