This is Texas, the land of football, beer, and cattle. At the beginning of the season, this game was supposed to be one of our usual day games, but the Texans' improving performance, and the fact that the NFL loves nothing more than BS narratives so they can drone on and on about nothing at all have led to this game being flexed to the Sunday night game. I think the majority of Texans fans hope that this team doesn't wilt under the glare of the spotlight and that we walk away victorious.

This game against the Patriots is the second of a three-game swing that is essential to our playoff chances. After a loss against the Bills, because defending the run is something other teams do, and facing going into the Oil Can to challenge the Colts in the hopes of finally winning in Indy with the possibility of a healthy Andrew Luck returning in time, we cannot afford to go 0-3.

What say you, fine people? What are your hopes, fears, and expectations for tonight's matchup? This is your countdown thread. The inactives thread will post around 6:10 p.m. CST, with the game thread opening at 7:15 p.m. CST.
