Sunday Night Football: Houston Texans v. New England Patriots

Can the Texans do something that hasn't happened in more than 13 years and send the Patriots on a three-game losing streak? Talk about what's happening on the field in Battle Red Blog's live open thread for Texans-Patriots on Sunday Night Football.

If Tom Brady can replace Tyrod Taylor in this picture, tonight could get interesting.

Your Houston Texans haven't quite reached the point of having to win out to maintain hope for a playoff berth, but that reality is within view. An upset of the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football at NRG Stadium this evening would not only be cause for celebration in Houston; it'd also serve to reset the clock on the last time New England lost three in a row. Will the Texans send Tom Brady & Co. to a place they haven't visited since 2002 while continuing to muddy the AFC playoff picture? Only one way to find out.

This is your first open thread for the Week Fourteen Sunday Night Football clash between the Texans and Patriots. Share your observations, thoughts, and musings about all things Houston, Texan, and/or Patriot in real time in the Comments below.
