To absolutely nobody’s surprise, the two best players on Houston’s roster this season – J.J. Watt and DeAndre Hopkins – are now officially the only two Texans to make the 2016 Pro Bowl. This is Watt’s fourth consecutive Pro Bowl selection (2012-2015), passing Andre Johnson (2008-2010) and Arian Foster (2010-2012) to set the all-time franchise record for consecutive appearances. Meanwhile, Hopkins will be making the first Pro Bowl of his young career despite having to catch passes from arguably the worst group of quarterbacks in the league. If that does not vault Nuk into the conversation for the NFL’s best receiver, I don’t know what does.
