BRB Fantasy Football Update: Keep Picking Winners

New, comments

We're football fanatics here at BRB, and we even fantasize about the sport, so each week, we get together and play some fantasy football games. This is where we keep updated about our performance and discuss our plans.

Can't even fathom fantasizing about this guy, but he helped us win, so he deserves a little shine this week. Oh, and the Cowboys will be sitting at home after this Sunday!

Well, it finally happened. The person who weekly exhorts you to not forget to set your pick 'ems before game time managed to forget to set any picks this past week. Argh. Even so, we're going to keep chugging along, picking winners right through February 7th.

Some of y'all have done a better job than I at picking winners. We have a two-way tie atop the leaderboard with do and RegulusArcturusBlack7 sitting at 126-109. HellAndDeath is third, at 125-110, with Straight Cash Homie fourth at 123-112, and No Punt Intended rounding out the top five at 122-113. Congrats to y'all for being in the top five. For the rest of us (well, except maybe me, languishing mid-table), there's still time to move up the board and battle for the sponge bath.

Remember to set your picks this weekend at least five minutes before each game kicks off. I expect every one of you to select the Texans to not only beat the Jags, but also to beat the spread.

Additionally, this is a place where you can discuss strategies and other fantasy football happenings because we know that some of us excel at other forms of fantasy than Survival or Pick 'Em. I will note that despite my utterly pathetic performance at both BRB offerings this season, I did manage to win my Battle Red Ladies league! Woot!

Enjoy and Go Texans!
