2015 NFL Mock Draft: With The 16th Pick, Daniel Jeremiah Now Says The Houston Texans Will Take...

Daniel Jeremiah has released his second mock of the 2015 NFL Draft, and his target for the Houston Texans has changed since his last projection. Texans fans react to the fake selection.

Had a freak injury not occurred, the Texans would have a history of good luck with Pitt tackles.

In his first mock draft of 2015, Daniel Jeremiah had your Houston Texans taking an offensive tackle with the sixteenth overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft. His thinking on what the Texans will do in the first round has not changed in his second mock, though the player Jeremiah has projected to the Texans has.

16. T.J. Clemmings (OT--Pittsburgh)

Clemmings struggled during the Senior Bowl week practices, but he's very impressive on tape. He would be a monster upgrade at right tackle for the Texans.

As I said in my reaction to Jeremiah's first mock, this pick really only makes sense if Derek Newton walks in free agency. If Newton re-ups in Houston, it's difficult to imagine the Texans taking a tackle in the first round.

I await your thoughts on the matter in the Comments below.
