Believe it or not, after spending three high picks on the outside linebacker position in the last four years, the Texans may yet again be looking to add a pass rusher early in the upcoming NFL Draft. Brooks Reed is now a Falcon, Whitney Mercilus has yet to live up to his first round hype, and Jadeveon Clowney is still rehabbing from microfracture surgery and might not ever be the same again. Somehow, some way, Houston still needs another quarterback hunter.
Enter Bud Dupree out of Kentucky. I’ve been a big fan of his since I first watched him a couple of months ago, and I still maintain that he would be a wise investment for the Texans should he fall all the way to the sixteenth pick. Because of that personal fandom, I decided to do this week’s episode of The Film Room on the former Wildcat and what he can bring to the team that drafts him. Enjoy.
Would you draft Bud Dupree sixteenth overall, or am I reaching too far on this one? Sound off below.
