The Ryan Mallett-Brian Hoyer saga is front page news in Houston, but what is going on around the AFC South?
Colts
The Colts retained a few of their own players on Tuesday. First, they extended offensive lineman Joe Reitz. Reitz is depth for protecting Andrew Luck. Cam Johnson was signed to a exclusive rights tender; that's the same situation as the Texans had with Case Keenum before he was traded to the Rams. The Colts also kept two of their safeties, Pro Bowler Mike Adams and Colt Anderson.
Indy had a few new additions that included Trent Cole, Frank Gore, and Kendall Langford. Lingering in the background is a possible signing of former Texan Andre Johnson as well.

Jaguars
The Jaguars started out the free agency period with a bang, signing former Broncos tight end Julius Thomas. Thomas, along with new additions tackle Jermey Parnell and linebacker Dan Skuta, fill holes for the Jaguars. Defensive tackle Jared Odrick is a nice find as the Dolphins moved on with Ndamukong Suh. Titans
It's been pretty quiet in Nashville. The Titans added Da'Norris Searcy, who started at safety for the Bills last season and looks to replace Bernard Pollard. The Titans added another streaky wide receiver in Harry Douglas and lost their backup quarterback Jake Locker to retirement. Other than that, a few players are sniffing around the Titans. But they may just be picking up some barbecue on the Titans' tab.

The biggest piece to shaping the AFC South may yet fall in the form of Andre Johnson. We'll have to see where 'Dre ends up.
