Vince Wilfork isn't the only free agent visiting Houston today. John McClain reports that a wide receiver looking for gainful employment is in town as well.
FA WR Cecil Shorts III is visiting with Texans today.

With the release of Andre Johnson last week, the Houston Texans have a glaring need at wide receiver. Shorts, who has posted these numbers over the course of his four-year NFL career and is well known to the Texans from his time with the Jaguars, has also garnered interest from the Chargers and Jets. Should Shorts choose to sign with the Texans, he would immediately become the second most accomplished receiver on the roster. Assuming Shorts wants to be here, the question becomes what kind of money it would take to bring him aboard.
Are you a fan of the Texans signing Cecil Shorts III? If not, why? Not a believer in Shorts' ability to stay healthy? Or do you think a contract would be too rich for your blood and not in the Texans' best interest, regardless of the current weakness at wide receiver?
