The best event of the sporting year starts in earnest at 11:15 a.m. CDT today when the first of the day's 16 games (Northeastern v. Notre Dame) tips off. While some may say the event doesn't truly begin until 1:45 p.m. CDT when the Longhorns face the Bulldogs of Butler, March Madness shall take over the collective consciousness of the country (and thus virtually every workplace) in a matter of hours.
