Inside linebacker just got a shot of depth and continuity:
Congrats to client, @AkeemDent, on agreeing to terms on new 2-year deal with Houston Texans! @AdamSchefter @ProFootballTalk

Dent, acquired from the Falcons in exchange for T.J. Yates last year, played well during his walk season in Houston. Described as "a pretty classic thumper" by our friends at The Falcoholic, Dent lived up to that billing, particularly on special teams, where he was one of the best players on the roster. Keeping Akeem Dent in steel blue, battle red, and liberty white is good news for the Texans and shores up an inside linebacking crew that can use a known quantity.
Your reaction to the news?
UPDATE: This is a bit more than I figured Dent would get, but good for him.
Akeem Dent signed two year deal for 4.5 mil, including 2 mil guaranteed.
