This is one of those times of year (yes, there is more than a single time) when living in Houston, Texas is even more stupendous than usual. Quite simply, the weather is about as good as it gets. It's basically like living in California, and it is freaking glorious. I hope you're taking advantage of this pristine weather and making the most of your weekend.
You can, however, revel in the beauty of the outdoors while engaging in a vigorous S.N.O.T.ing. By that, I mean that you should make with the comments about whatever's on your mind (within community guidelines, of course) on this postcard of a Saturday.
The discussion doesn't have to be about the Houston Texans. It certainly can be, but you're free to share your thoughts about other sports, music, literature, food, drink, or anything else that tickles your fancy these days. With that, I'll leave you with a song by an artist I recently got turned on to. I thoroughly enjoy many of Slaid Cleaves' songs, but this one is special to me simply because my kids have taken a shine to it and have begun requesting "The I Love You More Than Texas Song" each evening.
The Saturday Night Open Thread is ready for you. Have at it.
