Report: Andre Johnson Will Be Cut Today

A week after the story broke that Andre Johnson's days as a Houston Texans were coming to an end, a report out of Washington, D.C. says that the greatest player in franchise history will officially be released today. Check out Battle Red Blog for the details.

It appears that our week-long nightmare is about to conclude.

Reality of the salary cap era and Andre Johnson's age aside, I remain bummed about this. We will of course have a separate entry when it becomes official.

UPDATE: It's official. Andre Johnson is no longer a Houston Texan.
