I saw it from Mark Berman first.
Texans signing Nate Washington to a one-year contract worth $1 million with $30K guaranteed.

Nate Washington never developed into the monster the Titans hoped he would become when Tennessee signed him away from the Steelers with a six-year deal worth $26,800,000.00 ($9,000,000.00 of which was guaranteed) back in 2009, but he was productive enough to play that entire deal out, earning the high praise of being labeled "the best Tennessee Wide Receiver since Derrick Mason and Drew Bennett were in town."
For as little money as the Texans are on the hook for with this transaction, it's hard to find much fault with the signing. Washington may not make the Texans' 53-man roster when training camp breaks, yet he should provide a fine veteran presence at very little risk to the organization. If he teaches a thing or two to DeVier Posey & Co. along the way, all the better.
What say you?
