With the 22nd pick of the 2015 BRB Mock Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Landon Collins (S--Alabama).
This pick was a no-brainer. With the departure of Troy Polamalu and Ike Taylor, the Steelers lost both their identity and toughness in one fell swoop. Collins will go a long way towards restoring both. A big-bodied thumper who can play and has played both safety positions, it's no secret that Collins is primarily a run stopper. Collins will go a long way towards restoring a certain level of respect to a defense desperate for playmakers. Tbe Steelers' front office has to know a blue collar city like Pittsburgh will not settle for a white collar defense.
I'm one of those who has real questions about Collins' ability to cover in the NFL, but this pick fits on a number of levels. How does this selection strike you?
