2015 NFL Draft: How Battle Red Blog Will Cover It

If you're wondering how your favorite SB Nation site about the Houston Texans is going to cover the 2015 NFL Draft, starting tomorrow, wonder no more. Battle Red Blog has your answers.

Gonna be a longer wait this year. UNLESS THE TEXANS TRADE ALL THE WAY UP TO NO. 1.

The Star-Ledger-USA TODAY Sports

At 7 p.m. CDT tomorrow, the 2015 NFL Draft will officially get underway. Although your Houston Texans are not currently scheduled to make a selection until approximately 9:40 p.m. CDT (give or take, with each team having up to 10 minutes to make its first round selection), BRB will be here for you throughout the festivities.

The first live open thread for the 2015 NFL Draft will post at 6:45 p.m. CDT tomorrow. We'll add additional open threads as necessary throughout the evening so everyone can comment and interact to their heart's content in real time. Speaking of commenting, I've asked everyone on staff to be vigilant about making sure the community guidelines are obeyed. If they are not, bans will come swiftly, so please be forewarned.

ANNUAL REMINDER: Please do not post or comment on any of the selections before Roger Goodell announces them on the television broadcast. I know that news about who's been picked will be broken before an official announcement is made (especially on Twitter). Please do not spoil it for those of us who want to find out the old fashioned way. If you fail to honor this request, YOU WILL BE BANNED FOR THE NIGHT.

In addition to the open threads, we'll have posts for you to react to any Texans moves, whether they are draft picks or trades. Given the unpredictable nature of the draft, it's impossible to say when or if those posts occur; as stated above, however, we have a general idea of when the Texans will make their first pick if they stay at No. 16. Mark your calendars accordingly.

Finally, I'm planning on tweeting my thoughts and reactions to what the Texans do, as well as various other draft observations, on BRB's official Twitter account here (while watching the television coverage; I won't be checking my timeline to tip picks ahead of Goodell's announcements).  I have other commitments that will keep me busy until at least 8 p.m. tomorrow, so the tweets will be slow until then.  If you want to see me overreact in real time, Twitter is the place to be.

The plan is to stick to that itinerary for Friday and Saturday as well, with the first open threads on those days posting at 5:45 p.m. CDT and 10:45 a.m. CDT, respectively.
