Bill O'Brien Expects Jadeveon Clowney To Be Ready For Week One Versus Chiefs

The Texans may be getting their 2014 number one overall pick back right on time for the start of the 2015 season.

Jadeveon Clowney’s highly anticipated rookie season was unfortunately marred by a slew of medical hurdles, the largest of which being a season-ending microfracture surgery on his right knee in December. However, Bill O’Brien thinks that Clowney should be ready for a strong comeback in year two of his career, going so far as to say that he expects him to be ready for the week one opener against Kansas City.

Having Clowney back on the field could be a monumental addition to an already potent defensive unit, if his semi-healthy performances in the preseason are anything to go by, at least.

It might finally be happening, people. Clowney and Watt. Watt and Clowney. Get Hyped!
