Houston Texans Cut Brandon Ivory

New, comments

The Texans have never been a team to put up with off the field shenanigans, and that goes double for undrafted rookies who have yet to earn their place on the roster. Goodbye, Brandon Ivory; we hardly knew ye.

Well, that was quick. Just one day after rookie undrafted free agent Brandon Ivory was arrested for allegedly breaking into a house (with an assault rifle, no less) and stealing both cash and two iPads, the Texans have parted ways with the former Alabama defensive lineman.

Ivory was likely going to "just" be a camp body, but this (allegedly) inexcusable mistake assured that he wouldn't even get that far. If Ivory did in fact commit the crime that he is accused of, well, good riddance.
