Report: Texans Not Interested In Signing Reggie Wayne After All

Although an earlier report indicated the Houston Texans were one of the teams considering signing longtime Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne, word out of Houston is that the Texans' interest is actually nonexistent.

Maybe Texans fans should hold off on bedazzling those homemade Reggie Wayne jerseys for a tick. Mark Berman, one of the (if not THE) best reporter(s) on the sports beat in Houston, just sent this tweet out into the atmosphere.

Berman has a long track record of solid work, so I'm inclined to believe that he's getting good information despite earlier reports of the Texans reaching out to Wayne. While I wouldn't put it above any organization to use the media to send out smokescreens, I'd err on the side of Berman being accurate.
