Jadeveon Clowney returned to practice yesterday, Brian Cushing offered "tough-guy" veteran competition to Alfred Blue, and the quarterback battle rages along.
Ryan Mallett will start this Saturday night when the Broncos play the Texans at NRG Stadium; kickoff is set at 7 p.m. CDT. Brian Hoyer and Tom Savage will be taking the rest of the reps under center. A decision should (???) be made sometime shortly after that game to determine who will be named the starting quarterback for the 2015 regular season.

For most of his Texan tenure, Clowney's felt like a concept or mythical creature. Yesterday, he was an actual person: http://t.co/RyGXSxgBeg

In other Texans news, the second episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks" will air tonight, so be sure to tune in at 9 p.m. CDT. In the meantime, this thread will serve as your daily open entry for today's training camp. The usual rules apply. Have a great Tuesday!
