Brian Hoyer had his shot with the first team offense last week in the preseason opener against the 49ers. Tonight, Ryan Mallett gets his. It's quite possible that the performance of one or both of these quarterbacks this evening determines who gets the honor of being under center when the Texans open their regular season against the Chiefs on September 13th.
Oh, and there's Peyton Manning, Gary Kubiak, Wade Phillips, Bill Kollar, several other friendly faces from years past, and the always present battle for roster spots on both teams to keep an eye on in this preseason tilt between Houston and Denver.
