Well, our favorite team, the Texans, are in Northern Virginia wrapping up several days of joint practices with Washington. Over the past few days, we've had some good news about how our young guys are developing, and we've had some horrific news about one of our vets and his troublesome soft tissue injury trend. One reminder--"Hard Knocks" starts airing this Tuesday!
But S.N.O.T. isn't just about football. Instead, it's a place where we can discuss all manner of things (as long as we understand the basic ground rules, of course), such as the impact of drought on shipping, the passing of the woman whose doubts on thalidomide certainly prevented millions of birth defects in US children, a positivish review on Fantastic Four, the fact that the remaining members of One Direction have broken streaming records (and the hearts of parents who hope they quickly fade back into the abyss from whence they came), the deadly typhoon that has struck parts of Asia, the risks to Ghanians as their medics refuse to perform emergency services, the lawsuit against Kenny Stewart over the tragic death of Kevin Ward last year, or the fact that some English people are having to boil their water.
In Houston sporting news, the Houston Dynamo welcome the San Jose Earthquakes tonight at BBVA. The Houston Dash lost last night, and the Astros have so far split the weekend series against the Athletics.
In music news, I bring you Jonny Lang. This isn't a new song (I haven't been able to get into his newest album, TBH), but it remains one of my favorite songs since it's 1998 release.
With that, come share some S.N.O.T. with us! Comment below!
