2015 Houston Texans Training Camp: Texans, Redskins Brawl During Joint Practice

It was bound to happen. Check out the video of all three skirmishes on Battle Red Blog.

Fighting is par for the course during NFL training camp. Players hit one another over and over.  Emotions quickly escalate. The Texans and Redskins reached that boiling point Saturday during a live cut-in on ESPN.

The teams are holding joint practices in Richmond, Virginia. Both teams had to be separated as multiple fights broke out on Saturday.

Texans nose tackle Vince Wilfork blew up the Redskins' offensive line on a running play, resulting in a tackle for loss. Washington's center, Josh LeRibeus, took exception to the Texans defenders' celebration after the play. All hell broke loose after that.

The teams weren't done.

Then there was a third fight. Kenny Hilliard trucked a Redskins defender, resulting in another dust-up. Aaron Adams came flying into the picture to clear up things for the Texans.

Madness all around. The Texans will have to wait until Aug. 15 to face another team on the field -- the 49ers at NRG Stadium.

UPDATE: DeAndre Hopkins has apologized for the fight.  Sort of. As embedding the apology would result in putting profanity on the front page, I'll just link to Nuk's tweet instead.
