As many as 480 players across 32 NFL teams will receive some tough news today (if they haven't already received it). Each team in the league must reduce their rosters to a maximum of 75 players by 3 p.m. CDT today. Some of these athletes may get an opportunity with another team, especially given the number of injuries that have occurred throughout preseason this year.
According to our Roster Cuts Tracker, here are the fifteen (15) players the Houston Texans removed from their roster in order to get down to 75 today:
Stevie Brown
Jace Davis
Chris Neild
Cameron McLeod
Jason Ankrah
Travis Labhart
Bryan Witzmann
Cody White
Aaron Adams
Reshard Cliett (moved to Injured Reserve)
Will Johnson
Jeff Tarpinian
Terrance Parks (waived-injured)
Anthony Denham (waived-injured)
David Quessenberry (moved to Non-Football Injury List)
All teams will need to have their rosters trimmed to 53 players by this Saturday (September 5th) at 3 p.m. CDT.
