Monday Night Football: Eagles v. Falcons (Week 1)

It's your open thread to discuss the first of two Monday Night games during Week 1.

The extent of Sam Bradford's mobility.
The extent of Sam Bradford's mobility.

Full disclosure: I am generally not a fan of the opening-night MNF double-header. Even if you start the first game earlier than usual, the second game always seems to run way too late. (That said, I'm not completely against the whole thing, if only because of what happened in the late game two years ago.)

This year's first-week two-fer does nothing to change my general stance, either. Eagles v. Falcons and Vikings v. 49ers are decent-ish games on paper, but I would much rather have only the latter game tonight since it has major fantasy football implications for my team.

Alas, I don't have a say in such things. So a twin-bill it is.

Up first, two predatory birds smash into one another at high velocity in Georgia. (Which actually sounds more interesting than the game itself, but I digress.) Will Chip Kelly's offense still be fast paced behind his new, couldn't-be-less-like-Mariota QB, Sam Bradford? Will Matt Ryan continue to be this generation's Ken Anderson? Will DeMarco Murray or Ryan Mathews break something first? Is Roddy White as completely done as it appeared last year?

These questions and many more will (probably not) be answered tonight! And you can discuss all of the happenings in the comments below.

Who: Eagles and Falcons.

What: Monday Night Football.

When: Kickoff around 6:10pm CDT.

Where: ESPN.

Why: Because Goodell loves money.

NOTE: Please do not post any images, videos, GIFs, or non-text comments in any of BRB's live game threads. They tend to slow the thread down and can take a long time to load. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
