Lee did a fantastic impersonation of coach Bill O'Brien during the rookie talent show night captured on "Hard Knocks", forever making his mark in Houston Texans history. He also flashed in several preseason games with athletic catches. Ye ttoday we learned that Lee will be wearing a Bears uniform for the 2015 NFL season, and the Texans will have an extra 6th round draft pick in 2017.
Lee was an All-American at D-2 Bowie State and signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent. He didn't impress at his Pro Day, however, displaying subpar athleticism with a 5.05 forty and 9-foot-7 broad jump. Lee caught 5-of-6 preseason targets for 71 scoreless yards. The Bears like him as an inline blocker. - John McClain on Twitter
The Texans had depth at TE so they could afford to trade Khari Lee to the Bars. He had 5 catches for 71 yards in preseason.

For the record, I'd have kept Khari Lee and traded all 3 of the other TE's for a 6th round pick based on Lee's OB impersonation #Seanalytics

Khari has surely turned some heads around league evaluators & Texans knew he probably wouldn't pass thru waivers. Get a 6th back for UDFA.

Bears' trade for Khari Lee probably not a good sign for Bear Pascoe
