Open Game Day Thread: Houston Texans v. Carolina Panthers

Been quite a week for the Houston Texans, hasn't it? First, a mere week into the regular season, Brian Hoyer was benched for Ryan Mallett. Then the team trades Keshawn Martin, perhaps the player on the current roster most roundly criticized by the fan base, somehow actually receiving an asset in return. Then, seemingly out of nowhere and after years of complaints that seemed to fall on deaf ears, the Texans announce they're changing the field surface at NRG Stadium. It's enough to almost make you forget the Texans were embarrassed by the Chiefs last week, are 0-1, and have their first road game of the year today.
