Open Game Day Thread: Texans @ Panthers, Third Quarter

The first half was quite an embarrassment for the Houston Texans. It's still a one score game, so stick around to see if things improve in the second half.

The Texans' offense is abysmal by every point of measurement, and the defense is wearing down as a result of getting no time to recover between series.  Ryan Mallett hasn't looked great, but he hasn't played as bad as Hoyer did last week.  He needs a bit more protection from a decimated offensive line, and it would be really super if the receivers could find a way to catch a football.

O'Brien better figure out something quickly to turn this game around.
