Arian Foster has made progress in practice after returning from groin surgery, but it's not looking like he'll play in the upcoming tilt against the Tampa Bay Bucaneers at NRG Stadium this Sunday.
Injury roundup: Bill O'Brien doesn't think Arian Foster will play Sunday for Texans http://t.co/nQYcTBKBmC

O'Brien says he's still not sure about Foster's status for Sunday but adds that he'll return "sooner rather than later." #Texans

The schedule doesn’t help Foster. Likely out W3, then #Falcons in W4 & quick turnaround to #Colts on Thursday in W5. Won’t play both weeks.

That's not good news for a team that is struggling so much in the running game. The Texans did sign a new running back today to the practice squad, but Daryl Richardson will need time to learn the offense to see if he can be a contributor anytime soon. I wonder how long Alfred Blue and/or Chris Polk have left if they don't start making an impact.
Hopefully Foster returns for Week Four when Houston travels to play the Atlanta Falcons. Share your thoughts on this latest news with fellow fans.
