DeAndre Hopkins Misses Practice With Concussion

Just when you thought the injury bug couldn't get any worse, it appears the Texans may be without their No. 1 wide receiver on Sunday against Tampa Bay.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Oh look, even more bad news.

Words cannot express just how depleted this Texans offense might be if DeAndre Hopkins cannot suit up on Sunday. Their All-Pro left tackle, Duane Brown, is still managing a thumb injury that kept him out of last weekend's game against the Panthers, fellow All-Pro running back Arian Foster is also day-to-day while he recovers from groin surgery, and presumed starting left guard Xavier Su'a-Filo is still fighting his way back from a nasty high ankle sprain that has left him on the bench for over a month now. If Hopkins can't go, Ryan Mallett is going to walk into a shootout with Jameis Winston carrying a gun that has no bullets.

I already hate this season so, so much.
