Get ready, Texans fans. Today, you witness history. That's not some sort of bold prediction about the content of the upcoming game between the 0-2 Houston Texans and the 1-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's merely recognizing that this afternoon is the first Texans game at NRG Stadium without the grass pallet system used by the organization as their playing surface of choice since the team first took the field in 2002. Here's hoping the Texans' output on that new field this afternoon registers as much excitement as the report that the team would be going seamless for the remainder of the season did.
