The morning began with good news for Texans fans when WR DeAndre Hopkins passed concussion protocol and was declared a starter in today's game. However, our already banged up team is down a man because of Jeff Adams going on IR yesterday with a torn patellar tendon, leaving us with a roster of 52, rather than the usual 53. We know we're missing RB Arian Foster, LT Duane Brown, S Lonnie Ballentine, ILB Mike Mohamed, OG Xavier Su'a-Filo, and WR Jaelen Strong for today. Strong missing out is not good for his showing so far in his rookie season, but we're hoping he'll turn it around soon enough.
The Buccaneers are missing TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, C Evan Smith, S Major Wright, QB Ryan Griffin, WR Adam Humphries, G Matthew Masifilo, and RB Mike James from today's game. The loss of starting C Evan Smith should weaken their OL, which can help our defense impose their will and pressure Jameis Winston throughout the game. Here's to hoping for no injuries, though.
