Tom Savage was under pressure all night from the Dallas Cowboys, taking sacks and repeatedly getting hit while throwing. Halfway through the fourth quarter, he took one last hit and landed on his throwing shoulder.

Ryan Mallett came in and played one ineffectual series while Savage headed straight for the locker room. After the game, Savage said this:
"Doesn't feel good. ... Kind of felt it on the ground," Tom Savage tells reporters in Dallas of his injury. #Texans

Savage's injury is especially worrisome due to the fact that the Texans have managed to use at least three quarterbacks in three of the last four seasons.
No official word has come through as of 2 am local time, but we'll update you when we know more.
UPDATE: According to John McClain, it looks like the Texans and Savage may have dodged a bullet.
