We rang in 2016 several hours ago, and now we've all sobered up so we can spend the day on our couches watching more college football.

We have a total of five bowl games to enjoy today that take us from mid-morning to late night.

We begin the day in NCAA football with the Outback Bowl in Tampa Bay's Raymond James Stadium . The Northwestern Wildcats will take on the Tennessee Volunteers for all the blooming onions you can imagine. This game airs on ESPN2 at 11:00AM CST.

We move on from blooming onions to citrus fruits an hour later when the Michigan Wolverines take on the Florida Gators in the Citrus Bowl. ABC will air the game from Orlando's Citrus Bowl at Noon CST.

At the same time that visions of oranges dance in our heads, Glendale's University of Phoenix Stadium will feature lots of angry green frogs in the Fiesta Bowl. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Ohio State Buckeyes will battle it out in a game airing on ESPN at Noon CST.

Pasadena, California's aging Colosseum will host the Rose Bowl that will see Stanford Cardinal and the Iowa Hawkeyes fight for the roses on ESPN at 4:00PM CST.

Finally, rounding out our day of college football, New Orleans will host the Sugar Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. This game will see the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Ole Miss Rebels fight it out over some sucrose on ESPN at 7:30PM CST.

This is your open thread for today's college football games. Feel free to discuss strategy, draft stock, mock drafts (heh!), and the like below.
