Traditional fantasy playoffs are long over. Why stop playing fantasy? DFS has got you covered. Let's run through some DFS picks for the conference championships playoff games tomorrow:
QB: Carson Palmer, ARI $7,700
Carson Palmer is riding on a high from the end of the regular season and his first playoff win. Now he faces a defense that has a secondary that is made up of guys off the street. Of the four quarterbacks, I like Palmer's matchup the best.
RB: Jonathan Stewart, CAR, $7,000
The Cardinals' run defense is tough. It finished second-best against the run in 2015. But the choices at running back this weekend are few, and Stewart is the lone workhorse.
RB: C.J. Anderson, DEN, $6,300
Anderson ran the ball for 113 yards against the Patriots in Week 12. I'm willing to roll the dice again as the Broncos will need a running game if they hope to win against the Patriots.
WR: Larry Fitzgerald, ARI, $8,000
Fitzgerald had a resurgence and has been Palmer's No. 1 target in the playoffs. If the Cardinals make it to the Super Bowl, it will be because Palmer and Fitzgerald.
WR: Julian Edelman, NE, $7,800
The Patriots have been using Keshawn Martin at wide receiver, so I'm guessing getting a second game with Julian Edelman back in the rotation will bring Tom Brady much joy.
WR: Ted Ginn, Jr., CAR, $6,200
The Cardinals defense is tough, but at this point it's either Ginn or a shot in the dark. I will take the number one wide receiver option for Cam Newton.
TE: Greg Olsen, CAR, $7,000
Basically, not picking Rob Gronkowski is a risk. I'm willing to take that risk with Greg Olsen.
K: Brandon McManus, DEN, $5,000
The Gary Kubiak offense is content with field goals.
DEF: New England Patriots, $4,600
Peyton Manning may not be able to throw the ball down field. That makes playing defense much easier.
