You know we have entered the offseason when the discussion posts come home to roost. In this entry, Texans fans discuss what former member of the Houston Texans did the most memorable job not living up to expectations.

It's the lunch hour on a Friday. You may have unofficially or even officially already begun your weekend, so I suggest we all grab a drink and venture into the abyss that is Bad Houston Texans Memories. Time for a new offseason discussion topic.

Every year, we have expectations for our beloved Texans. Sometimes they are entirely unreasonable, such as the one you may have had before the 2013 season about the Texans not being the worst team in the entire league. I suppose you could argue that expecting that, after a 12-4 season in 2012, wasn't unreasonable at all, but just go with me on this, alright? I don't ask for much.

Anyway, we also inevitably have expectations for various players. Often, the players fall short of those expectations. My question to you today is which single former Texans player fell furthest short of your expectations? In other words, which Texan of years past failed most memorably in terms of what he did versus what you expected?

Note that this query is limited to former members of the Houston Texans. We'll save current players on the roster for another post; I have to spread these thought exercises out for another six plus months, so no need to rush.

Give your answer to today's question in the Comments below and see who other Texans fans believe is in contention for the proverbial crown.
