It's been three long years since the Houston Texans participated in a playoff game. The last one occurred back on January 13, 2013 when the Patriots rolled the Texans in Foxborough. The last playoff game that was held in Houston was the week prior, on January 5, 2013, when the Texans held off the Bengals at what was then Reliant Stadium. Since that time, Texans fans suffered through the disaster that was 2013's 2-14 campaign, Bill O'Brien's 9-7 turnaround rookie year of 2014, and now, most recently, a season that appeared to go completely off the rails before November began only to end with a division championship.
Improbable as it may have seemed a couple of months ago, the NFL Playoffs have returned to Houston. The Texans will host the Chiefs in the first playoff game of the 2015 postseason on Saturday afternoon at 3:35 p.m. CST. What are your plans for the game?
Will you be in attendance at NRG Stadium, ensuring that the Chiefs are forced to deal with a raucous crowd that makes communication difficult for the opposing team all afternoon?
Are you going to be at home, whether solo because other people divert your attention away from the game or surrounded by friends and/or family for a watch party?
Maybe you'll be at a sports bar so you can watch J.J. Watt harass Alex Smith in high definition on multiple televisions.
Whatever your plans, let us know in the Comments. If you're still trying to figure out what you're going to do, or if you're a stranger in a strange land looking for somewhere to catch the game, pose any queries here; someone might have a suggestion for you. Similarly, if you've got a worthy spot staked out somewhere and want to clue fellow Texans fans in to it, please divulge that information in the Comments as well.
For example, I know a Texans fan in Morris County, New Jersey is looking for somewhere to get together with fellow right-minded individuals to watch the game on Saturday. If you're in the area or have any insight as to where Texans fans congregate in that part of the country, please head over to this FanPost and drop some knowledge.
