Multiple sources are reporting that Jadeveon Clowney left NRG Stadium after being ruled out for today's game.
According to a report by ESPN's Lisa Salters, the second-year player stormed out of NRG Stadium in Houston after being declared inactive for the game.
Seems straightforward enough, right? Well, then, how about some wrinkles, courtesy of emails Capt. Ron has sent while I've been writing this post?
There is no dispute that Clowney is upset about not dressing. Only upset he couldn't contribute. Left to handle a family matter. Will return

Also, too:
Inactive players are not required to be at the stadium by the Texans. Clowney did depart but I'm told is return to stadium now

If I were speculating--which I am--I would guess that Clowney did leave in the heat of the moment, then thought better of things and turned around. And, honestly, I have no problem with that; he should be upset about missing his first-ever playoff game, especially if he felt like he could play.
In that context, if he wasn't required to be at the stadium at all, but came back after he blew off a little steam, then no harm, no foul.
