Brian Hoyer Commits Two Insanely Stupid 1st Quarter Turnovers Against Chiefs

What an absolute mess.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Brian Hoyer did Brian Hoyer things on Houston’s second possession of the day, tossing one of the worst interceptions you’ll ever see to Chiefs safety Eric Berry. The Texans defense then took it upon themselves to bail Hoyer out, picking off Alex Smith to swing some momentum back towards the boys in blue. On the ensuing Texans drive, however, Hoyer gave it right back to Kansas City with an inexplicable fumble during an attempted pass, which was promptly recovered by Chiefs defensive tackle Dontari Poe.

I don’t know what I was expecting. Ugh.
