2016 NFL Week Seven Live: Early Afternoon Games

Even without a Texans game today, BRB’s the place to be for all the games this afternoon.

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Texans not playing in the 12:00pm slot for two straight weeks just feels weird. It feels weirder knowing that they will be playing in prime-time for the second straight week. Can you remember whether that’s ever happened before? If so, when was the last time the Texans played consecutive prime-time games? Take a guess without looking it up.

...

The last time it happened was during the 2012 season, when the Texans played the Jets on Monday night before playing the Packers on Sunday Night Football the following week. Did you get it right?

Regardless, now the that the Texans are a BIG PRIME-TIME BALL CLUB, the chaff of the early afternoon games must be filled with other teams. Teams such as the Browns, Jaguars, Titans, Colts, and Jets. It’s honestly quite staggering that the league is losing viewership considering the quality it’s putting out there. Here is your full slate of games for the 12:00pm kickoff in Week Seven:

Cleveland vs. Cincinnati (CBS)

Washington vs. Detroit (FOX)

Jacksonville vs. Oakland (CBS)

Indianapolis vs. Tennessee (CBS)

Minnesota vs. Philadelphia (FOX)

Buffalo vs. Miami (CBS)

New York Jets vs. Baltimore (CBS)

Looking at that schedule, I’d say it’s a day for the RedZone Channel if ever I saw one. This will be your open thread for the the early afternoon games. Do enjoy.
