Much has been made of Brock Osweiler's return to Denver this week, but there's another Texans-Broncos storyline that hasn't gotten nearly as much play. Namely, that the Houston Texans will play their first regular season game against a team that employs Gary Kubiak, Wade Phillips, and a whole lot of other people who worked for the Houston Texans not long ago. Although the majority of the Texans' fan base was happy to see Kubes & Co. win the big one last February, I wonder whether Houston fans would have been quite as magnanimous had the Broncos beaten the Texans en route to the Lombardi Trophy.

Tonight, the Broncos will attempt to do just that as both teams strive to improve their records to 5-2. Time to find out if either squad has an advantage from the familiarity the players and coaches have with each other from their previous time together.
