Texans 0, Lions 0: Second Quarter Live

Houston and Detroit head to the second quarter at NRG Stadium.

NFL: Detroit Lions at Houston Texans Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Houston plays host to Detroit today in a game that SHOULD be a chance to rebound from a poor showing at Denver. Brock Osweiler will have another chance to get the offense going, as we head into the second quarter.

Live blogging the first quarter:

  • My NFL Sunday Ticket is rude sometimes, so I missed a minute or four there.
  • Texans take over on downs. Solid.
  • Oh good, they’re talking about how tall Osweiler is again.
  • Holy hell, what is happening with this offensive line?!
  • Osweiler sack and a three and out for Houston.
  • Shockingly, the Lions’ RBs are running easily on the Texans.
  • Missed FG attempt gives Houston another shot and decent field position.
  • I don’t get to say this enough anymore but NUUUUUUK!!!!
  • Actually a nice pass to Ryan Griffin.
  • End of the quarter.

You know the drill. The comments section is yours to discuss the Lions, Texans and anything else football related.
