The Texans today were forced to make a series of moves on their defensive line:
Texans place DE Devon Still on IR, promote Brandon Dunn https://t.co/16Lo1oW8MU via @houstonchron

The reasoning as for why Still was placed on the IR is still unclear, but the Texans have elevated Brandon Dunn from the practice squad to shore up the defensive line. Dunn’s space in the Texans practice squad was quickly filled by former Arizona Wildcat defensive lineman Dan Pettinato, who had previously been on the Texans’ roster during the preseason but failed to make the final team. Pettinato played 120 snaps for the Texans during the preseason, playing 38% of all defensive snaps during the exhibition season.

Texans rookie wide receiver Braxton Miller returned to practice from hamstring that sidelined him two games. Hopes to play Sunday
— Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) October 5, 2016
The return of the Texans’ other rookie wide receiver could become an important factor for the offense going forward, considering the recent focus on the short passing game and Miller’s skill with the ball in his hands to create yards after the catch.
That’s your injury wrap-up for now. What do you think about Miller’s return and Dunn’s move to the main roster?
