Injuries happen throughout the season. As a result, players are moved to the IR, others are promoted to the active roster, and the football machine is restored back to equilibrium and maintains homeostasis.
Today, there were three moves. Akeem Hunt, everyone’s favorite scat back who Tyler Ervin was drafted to replace, has been promoted to the active roster.

This was most likely done to replace Jonathan Grimes, who is out this week with an illness. Finally, Lonnie Ballenetine was placed on IR because of groin, ankle, and knee injuries.

There you have it. The machine keeps turning as it makes its way to Jacksonville and into the second half of the season.
